Sage Therapy is pleased to partner with the llinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Division of Mental Health (DMH) Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Mental Health Reporting Team for a specialized training on clinician responsibilities related to mental health reporting and firearm ownership in Illinois.

The IDHS FOID Mental Health Reporting Team supports the Illinois State Police Bureau of Firearms Services by matching mental health records with FOID card holder databases to identify individuals ineligible to acquire or possess firearms. They also lead educational outreach within the mental health community to promote awareness of the FOID program and enhance public safety across Illinois.
