Fueling Therapy: Nutrition Care Coordination to Improve Mental Health
Friday, July 10th 2026
Explore how nutrition and mental health treatment intersect, what under-fueling actually looks like in session, and how therapists and dietitians can work together without stepping on each other's toes.

What your clients eat, or don't, shows up in the therapy room, whether you name it or not. This session explores what it looks like when food and mental health treatment work together, and what gets left on the table when they don't. Join us for a happy hour session where we're mixing good conversation with drinks and lite bites.
What You'll Learn:
- Recognize when under-fueling may be showing up in your clients' mood, cognition, or engagement in session.
- Identify the signs of disordered eating patterns even when an eating disorder isn't the primary diagnosis.
- Understand how nutrition and therapy support each other, and where each one ends.
- Learn practical approaches to referrals, communication, and coordinated care.
