“If you choose therapy as one of your tools, I consider it my responsibility and my honor to create a safe, welcoming space for you."

Why I became a therapist

I’ve experienced firsthand how capable therapists can dramatically improve quality of life. Therapy helped me transform my life into one that exceeds my wildest dreams. But I've also experienced therapists who did more harm than good, leaving me feeling stuck when I most needed to shift relationship, career, and thought patterns. I became a therapist to repay the kindness and compassion I received. Therapy offered me hope in the midst of a dark, difficult time, and it’s also given me small and simple tune-ups so I can get back to my best self. I firmly believe therapy is one tool among many needed to create a life worth living. There's no single magical solution for the rich and complex experience of life. But if you choose therapy as one of your tools, I consider it my responsibility and my honor to create a safe, welcoming space for you.

Who I work with

I work with adults and teenagers to reach their unique therapy goals. For people of all ages, identifying your values helps align your path with what matters most. This is especially important for teens navigating the dynamic changes, pressures, and choices that come with approaching adulthood. Many people I work with have experienced trauma, and EMDR can dramatically improve the core beliefs that form from unprocessed pain so the past no longer dictates the present or robs you of calm and joyful moments. Regardless of your phase of life, it's incredibly gratifying to help clients build new skills, patterns, and behaviors that create small improvements adding up to major gains over time. You know what's best for you. My role is to help you connect with that inner knowing, identify your goals, and cheer you on as you make them happen.

Working With Me

I aim to cultivate a judgment-free space rooted in compassion and respect for who you are and what you've been through. My motivation is simple: to create an environment that truly serves you. I take an eclectic approach including DBT, ACT, MBSR, CBT, EMDR, and somatic therapies to build a recipe of skills and tools that fits your unique needs. I often weave mindfulness into the work because I believe awareness deepens the connection between mind and body. Homework can be a powerful complement to our sessions, and I'm happy to be your accountability buddy when you want to try something new or tackle something you've been avoiding. We'll always aim for progress over perfection, with self-compassion leading the way because the path to wellness is rarely linear. My biggest hope is that you leave therapy trusting yourself to handle whatever life brings your way.
