About

Anna Ludvigsen

“My hope is that every client who sits across from me feels that this is a place where their story matters and their pace is respected."

Why I became a therapist

I believe that everyone deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and validated. What draws me to this work is the chance to walk alongside others as they come to understand themselves more fully, heal from past experiences, and create their own meaning in life. I am confident that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful source of healing and growth, one where self-exploration is fostered through compassion and collaboration rather than judgment. My hope is that every client who sits across from me feels that this is a place where their story matters and their pace is respected. Because of this, I am excited to support others in building greater connection, self-compassion, and self-understanding, and in discovering strengths they may not yet recognize in themselves.

Who I work with

I am passionate about helping others navigate an array of life challenges, including anxiety, trauma, identity development, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who want to explore themselves on a deeper level and move through their challenges with more clarity and confidence. When working with individuals, I focus on helping you connect with yourself and recognize the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others. When working with couples, I help foster a space of open communication where you can better understand how each partner's needs and patterns interact. My goal is to help clients explore their experiences, reconnect with their sense of self, and create meaningful, lasting growth.

Working With Me

Working with me involves creating a space in which you can show up exactly as you are: your true, authentic self. I am grounded in person centered therapy, where I work to foster an environment of trust, acceptance, and compassion, one where you can tell your unique story openly and without judgment. I also draw on a psychodynamic approach, so working with me will involve exploring your life experiences, understanding the patterns that have shaped you, and working together toward meaningful change. I value curiosity, openness, and genuine connection as tools to support your self-exploration, and I hope to help you build confidence, both in yourself and in your relationships.
