About

Lexi Goldman

“My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their true, authentic selves.”

Why I became a therapist

Hi, I'm Lexi! I am so glad you are here. I became a therapist because I, too, have been there. I wholeheartedly believe that no one should have to struggle alone. In fact, you deserve to have someone who is unconditionally on your team and cheering you on. And that is me! My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their true, authentic selves. I strive to support, empower, and guide clients toward growth and meaningful change, honoring both where you have been and where you want to go. I know that reaching out can feel vulnerable, and I do not take that trust lightly. Together, we will co-create a space of safety, regulation, laughter, and healing.

Who I work with

I primarily work with young adults, adults, and couples. I specialize in trauma and complex trauma, chronic nervous system dysregulation, anxiety and panic, OCD, relationship challenges, life transitions, body image and self esteem, and grief. I enjoy working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and supporting them in reclaiming and honoring their gifts rather than treating sensitivity as something to fix. I also support couples navigating recurring conflict, loss of trust, communication difficulties, and challenges with intimacy, helping partners find their way back to each other.Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

“Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with clients to determine which approach best supports their unique journey.”

Working With Me

In my work with clients, I utilize a neurophysiological and holistic framework, meaning my approach is grounded in neuroscience, physiology, and the mind-body connection. I help clients develop a deeper understanding of both their minds and bodies while tapping into their innate strengths and healing capabilities. We will work together to regulate and recalibrate the nervous system, heal past wounds, and build practical coping skills and tools to help you navigate future challenges with strength and resilience. My therapeutic approach when working with individuals is integrative and tailored to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals. I often incorporate a combination of holistic, body-based, and cognitive approaches, including Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with clients to determine which approach best supports their unique journey. In my work with couples, I draw from the Gottman Method, Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners strengthen connection, improve communication, navigate conflict, and foster deeper understanding within their relationship.
