About
“It is my desire to help you discover more and more solid ground so that you can navigate life with confidence, authenticity, trust, and hope.”

Why I became a therapist
I believe mental health is health care. Mental and emotional wellbeing are integral to a fulfilling life, and deserve just as much focus and care as physical wellbeing. Throughout our lives, mental health ebbs and flows, and it can be easy to feel caught up in the current when our circumstances, relationships, or inner experiences change. It is in this fluid space that healing and growth happen. I believe that no matter your circumstances, it is possible to improve your emotional and relational functioning, enhance your sense of wellbeing, and find solid ground on which to stand. It is my desire to help you discover more and more solid ground so that you can navigate life with confidence, authenticity, trust, and hope.

Who I work with
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, in individual, couple, and family therapy, including LGBTQIA+ families, polycules, and blended families. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, shame, or trauma rooted in long term relationships, and how those experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others. I support partners and families, like mixed orientation couples and mixed neurotype households, figure out how to live well together. I affirm diverse sexualities and relationship structures, including non monogamy and kink, and offer a sex positive space to explore what these identities mean for you. I especially enjoy working with autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent clients through a non pathologizing lens. My goal is to help you feel more at ease with yourself and with the people you love.

Working With Me
Every person deserves agency in their mental health treatment, which is why I invite clients to be co creators of the therapy space with me. I will help you tap into your own embodied wisdom and encourage you to let that wisdom guide our sessions. I take harm reduction and client autonomy seriously, which means I do not judge clients for their choices or impose unwanted treatment. Instead, we will consider ways to address your needs and explore how to best help you feel safe. The stories we believe about ourselves can propel us toward either self abandonment or self acceptance. I help clients rewrite their stories into a narrative that is more respectful, gracious, and loving toward themselves. I am passionate about bringing a creative, playful lens to therapy, incorporating non talk based approaches such as art, music, movement, games and play, mindfulness practices, and nature. During sessions I draw on person centered, psychodynamic, narrative, solutions focused, existential, and internal family systems modalities, always in service of helping you feel more at home in your own story.
