About

Courtney Robinson

“My priority is to offer a listening ear and an authentic therapeutic relationship in which we can work together towards your goals.”

Why I became a therapist

I became a therapist after therapy helped me move through my own trauma and anxiety over the years. I recognize the pivotal role that therapy had in my own life and I feel incredibly honored to offer that experience to others. I know how impactful it can be to feel seen, heard, and understood by your therapist. This is why I value creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for every client to feel supported. My goal is to empower you to tap into your own strengths and create the life you envision, helping you move forward with greater peace, purpose, and resilience.

Who I work with

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I am passionate about providing affirming individual therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients. Whether you're navigating anxiety, a major life transition, challenges in your personal relationships, grief and loss, or a desire for greater self-understanding, I offer a supportive space to explore what matters most to you. I work with individuals exploring non-monogamy, polyamory, and kink, and approach therapy from a sex-positive and body-positive perspective. My work is trauma-informed and recognizes the unique personal, cultural, and systemic factors that influence each client's life and relationships.

“This is a space where you and I can both be human, I look forward to meeting you where you’re at!”

Working With Me

My approach to therapy is focused on empathy and collaboration. I deeply care about offering a safe space rooted in compassion and empowerment tailored to each client. I know how difficult it can be to seek help, and I appreciate the vulnerability it takes to step into the therapeutic space. My priority is to offer a listening ear and an authentic therapeutic relationship in which we can work together towards your goals. My undergraduate education in music gives me a creative perspective that lends to my approach as a therapist. During my graduate-level training, my areas of focus were human sexuality as well as the impact of trauma on mental, physical, and emotional health. While therapy can often be a space to process serious topics and emotions, I also believe in the power of humor and use it when appropriate. As a therapist, I am down to earth and approachable. This is a space where you and I can both be human, I look forward to meeting you where you’re at!
